You'll find a wide variety of things to see and do in Mississippi County, Missouri - from attending a community festival to enjoying quality waterfowl hunting.

Charleston is proud of its beautiful Victorian homes, and annually hosts a spring festival showcasing its many gardens featuring azaleas and dogwoods. East Prairie hosts an annual festival celebrating sweet corn, the Fourth of July and includes a charity bicycle ride attracting cyclists from across the nation to ride the flat, rural, scenic highways of Mississippi County.

Mississippi County has antique shops, museums, State Historic Sites, State Parks, State Conservation Areas, lodging and dining opportunities.

Just a little over a two hour drive from Saint Louis or Memphis, Mississippi County is located in southeast Missouri, and is accessible from either I-55 or I-57. Come spend the day - or a few days with us - and experience the hospitality of Mississippi County.
